In the midst of building NVLTY Coffee Co, I am blessed to be a father of seven amazing children. They bring immense joy to my life, but it also comes with its own set of challenges. Balancing the demands of running a business and being present for my family requires constant juggling and prioritization. Ah, the chaotic symphony of raising seven kids in a blended home while juggling the rollercoaster ride of startup life – talk about a recipe for madness! For several days a week, my house is like a scene straight out of a sitcom, where the kitchen is a war zone of peanut butter sandwiches, orange peels, and spilled milk, while the living room doubles as a makeshift office littered with Legos and sticky notes, while the television blasts the theme song to Peppe the Pig. As I try to wrangle my brood of mini-humans while simultaneously catching my emails, creating collateral and dodging deadlines, I can't help but wonder if this is real life. Who needs sleep anyway, right? But hey, amidst the chaos and coffee spills, there's a strange sort of beauty in this madness. After all, if I can survive this daily circus act, I can conquer anything – startup setbacks included. So, here's to embracing the chaos, finding humor in the madness, and praying for just five minutes of peace and quiet (preferably with a hot cup of NVLTY specialty coffee in hand). But every moment spent with my children is a reminder of why I push myself to succeed.

I've learned that taking breaks, pursuing hobbies, and spending quality time with my loved ones not only recharges me but also adds depth to my work. It's a constant journey of learning to say no, setting boundaries, and being intentional with my time.
